Valeria joined WorkSitter because she loves helping people and has always enjoyed creating safe, supportive, and organized environments for others — she sees it as a place to use her skills, connect with wonderful people, and make a meaningful difference in someone's everyday life. Prior to this, she has worked in customer service, marketing, and management roles. One of the most meaningful experiences of her life was working as an au pair in the United States, caring for a young girl with ADHD for two years — an experience that taught her patience, adaptability, and the importance of building trust. She's currently studying data analysis, driven by a love of learning and challenging herself.

Empathy is her greatest strength: she's observant, highly organized, calm under pressure, and a great listener who genuinely enjoys helping others, bringing warmth, reliability, and a positive attitude to every situation. She describes herself as a little shy at first but deeply caring, valuing authenticity and meaningful connections. She's passionate about learning, traveling, personal growth, psychology, creativity, nature, and animals, and loves deep conversations that reveal new perspectives. Born and raised in Colombia, Valeria lived in the United States for several years before returning home; her family instilled in her the importance of resilience, independence, kindness, and hard work.

Fun fact: she has full conversations with her cat as though he were her roommate (and is pretty sure he thinks he's in charge), and she makes lists for almost everything.
